SEOMagicPRO (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides software and services designed to help Shopify merchants manage, improve and enrich their product catalogue information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose information when merchants install or use SEOMagicPRO, interact with our website, or contact us.

SEOMagicPRO is designed to operate as a Shopify-integrated application. Shopify manages merchant authentication and the Shopify account relationship. SEOMagicPRO accesses Shopify store information only as required to provide the features authorised by the merchant and permitted by the Shopify access scopes granted to the application.

Information We Collect

Merchant and Store Information

When SEOMagicPRO is installed or used with a Shopify store, we may receive or process information such as:

• Shopify store domain and store identifiers
• Store name and relevant Shopify account information
• Application installation and authorisation information
• Shopify access tokens required to communicate with Shopify APIs
• Subscription, plan and application entitlement information

Authentication of Shopify merchants is handled through Shopify. SEOMagicPRO does not require merchants to create a separate SEOMagicPRO username and password for the embedded Shopify application.

Shopify Catalogue Data

To provide catalogue-management features, SEOMagicPRO may access and process Shopify data authorised by the merchant, including:

• Products and product variants
• Product titles and descriptions
• Product categories and taxonomy information
• Product images and image metadata
• Tags, options and other product attributes
• Metafields and other catalogue metadata relevant to supported features

This information is processed for functions requested by the merchant, such as catalogue analysis, product optimisation, image optimisation, taxonomy enrichment and related catalogue-management operations.

Technical and Usage Information

We may collect technical information necessary to operate, secure and improve the service, including:

• IP address and request information
• Browser and device information
• Application activity and feature usage
• Operational logs and error information
• Performance, security and diagnostic information

Communications

If you contact us, we may retain the information you provide, such as your name, email address, company information and the contents of your message, for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and maintaining appropriate support records.

How We Use Information

We use information processed through SEOMagicPRO to:

• Provide and operate the SEOMagicPRO Shopify application
• Connect securely to authorised Shopify stores
• Provide catalogue analysis and optimisation features
• Process merchant-requested product and image operations

Artificial Intelligence Processing

Some SEOMagicPRO features use automated analysis and artificial intelligence to analyse catalogue information or product images and generate suggested improvements.

Depending on the feature selected by the merchant, relevant product information or images may be processed by systems used to provide that functionality. We limit such processing to information reasonably necessary to perform the requested operation.

SEOMagicPRO is designed to allow merchants to review applicable suggestions before catalogue changes are applied where the relevant feature provides a preview or approval workflow.

Shopify and Application Billing

SEOMagicPRO operates as a Shopify application. Where paid application functionality is used, billing and subscription approval are handled through Shopify's application billing mechanisms.

We may receive and retain information about the status of a Shopify app subscription, plan or entitlement where necessary to determine which SEOMagicPRO features are available to a store. We do not process or store merchant payment card details for Shopify app billing.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information or Shopify merchant catalogue data.

Information may be disclosed only where reasonably necessary in circumstances such as:

• Shopify: when communicating with Shopify APIs and services required to operate the application.
• Infrastructure and service providers: where providers supply hosting, communications, security or other technical services necessary to operate SEOMagicPRO.
• Legal obligations: where disclosure is required by applicable law, regulation, court order or other lawful process.
• Protection of rights and security: where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents or threats to our service or users.
• Business transfers: where information is transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of relevant business assets, subject to applicable data-protection requirements.

Data Security

We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect information processed by SEOMagicPRO against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss.

Shopify Privacy and Compliance Requests

SEOMagicPRO supports Shopify's mandatory privacy and compliance mechanisms for applications.

Shopify may send SEOMagicPRO authenticated compliance requests relating to customer data requests, customer data erasure or shop data erasure. We process valid requests in accordance with our obligations as a Shopify application and applicable law.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to operate and secure the service, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal or regulatory obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is held. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or otherwise dispose of it appropriately.

Where Shopify sends a valid shop or customer erasure request through its application compliance mechanisms, information covered by that request is handled in accordance with the applicable Shopify and legal requirements.

Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on where you are located and the applicable data-protection law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to:

• Request access to personal information held about you
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information
• Request deletion of personal information in applicable circumstances

Shopify merchants and customers should be aware that Shopify may also independently process personal information under Shopify's own privacy policies and data-protection obligations.

Information may be processed in countries other than the country in which a merchant or user is located where this is necessary to operate SEOMagicPRO or use our service providers.

Where applicable data-protection law requires safeguards for international transfers of personal information, we take appropriate measures to meet those requirements.
